Teri Rampolla Obituary

Teri Lynn Rampolla, 62, of Sandy Hook, longtime resident of Ridgefield, died on Friday, December 6, 2024.

Teri was born in Long Beach, NY on November 2, 1962; a daughter of the late Thomas and Lorraine (Neu) Snipp. Teri and her brother, Tommy moved around a lot as children and young adults, but they were always together. They were also both on the cheerleading team and she was home coming queen.

A longtime resident of Ridgefield, Teri worked as a real estate agent and later was a CNA at the Saint John Paul II Center in Danbury. As a realtor, she helped her daughter and husband buy their first home. As a CNA she loved working with each and every one of her patients. She loved learning about their lives, telling stories, and supported their families.

In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and shopping during the holidays. She cherished time spent with her family and children. Teri also loved animals and contributed to several animal rescue organizations.

Teri was always thinking of other people first and loved making people laugh. She taught everyone around her about kindness and love. Her daughter, Elaina is a teacher and her son, Joseph works in education and they represent those values every day in their respective careers.

Teri is survived by her children: Elaina Ahumada and her husband, Francisco and Joseph Thomas Rampolla and his partner, Sara Amin. Teri is also survived by her siblings: Thomas Snipp, Kenneth Snipp and Kristen Snipp, as well as her former spouse, Joseph Rampolla. In addition, Teri is survived by her nieces and nephews, Hawley, Tommy, Marisa, Emma, James, Liam, and Jack.
