Stanley Clayton Parker, 87, of Brookfield, CT passed away Monday September 9, 2024.
Stanley was born on August 29, 1937, to Samuel and Belle Pecker in Fairfield, CT. Stanley graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School in Fairfield and went onto serve in the US Navy. He was honorably discharged from active duty in February 1961.
When he returned home he went to work for the family business, Capital Loan and then opened his own business Parker Loan in Danbury, CT. In ‘64 he and Beverly were set up by a mutual friend and in ‘65 they were married.
Stanley and his amazing wife went on to have 2 beautiful, funny girls. Stacey Olin and Susan Price, and one grandchild, Nicholas Price, who he let everyone know is the “smartest kid ever.”
In 2000 he retired from Stanley Parker Chevrolet, his life’s passion, and continued his staunch work on the Brookfield Zoning Commission which he was proudly a part of for 26 years. Stanley was predeceased by his mother and father. He is survived by his wife Beverly, his daughters Stacey and Susan, their husbands Eric Olin and Matthew Price; his grandson, Nicholas; his sister, Linda Kaplan and his brother, Joel Parker.
Friends and family are invited to join in remembering a life well lived at a Graveside Funeral Service on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 11:30 AM in United Jewish Center Cemetery; 124 Gray's Bridge Road, Brookfield. US Navy Funeral Honors will be offered at the beginning of the Graveside Service. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Jewish Center - 141 Deer Hill Avenue; Danbury, CT 06810.
