Ronald Andrew Back

Ronald Andrew Back, 52, of Ridgefield, passed away on Friday, December 18. He was the loving husband of Pamela Chupka Back.

Ronald was born in White Plains, NY; a son of Tibor and Judith (Varadi) Back. Graduate from Ithaca College with a B.S. in Finance.

A Ridgefield resident since 2012, Ronald previously resided in White Plains, NY. Ronald was the founder and owner of several companies including Flavorbean Coffee, Power Bean Coffee and Flavormatic. But his real passion was money management and beating the Dow Jones averages. He often watched the markets at 2am saying ‘money never sleeps.’ It wasn’t the love of money, but all about the game of beating the averages.

In his spare time, Ronald cherished time spent with family and friends as well as skiing, golf, and travel.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Pamela Chupka Back, his children, Alexa Back, Jacob “Jake” Back, and step-daughter Sarah Chupka. He is also survived by his mother, Judith Varadi and his brother, Robert Back as well as many dear friends and colleagues. Ronald was predeceased by his father, Tibor Back.

The world lost an amazing husband, friend, dad, mentor, writer, and inspirer. He touched many lives in so many ways, especially loved ones closest to him. Our hearts are broken, but his love and strength will be with us forever.
