Robert E. "Bob" Finney

Robert “Bob” E. Finney, 76, of Danbury, died peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025. He was the loving husband of Regina (Aquistapace) Finney.

Bob was born on July 18, 1949 in Norwalk, CT; a son of the late Robert and Climene (Mazzi) Finney.

Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Regina, as well as his daughter, Jennifer (Finney) Kaufman and her husband, Adam. Bob is also survived by his grandchildren; Peter and Emelia Kaufman and his sisters, Cathryn Kochies and Joan Oeding.

A longtime resident of Ridgefield and later Danbury, Bob served in the United States Army and was a retired Sales Associate for Ridgefield NAPA and Levine Automotive. He loved motorcycles, cars, spreadsheets and traveling -- especially to Arizona .

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. A prayer service will be offered at 12:30 PM. Interment will take place in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
