Ramiro F. Martinho, 85, of Ridgefield, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday late afternoon, September 4, 2023, at Danbury Hospital.
He was born in Amiais de Baixo, Portugal, and immigrated to Hartford, CT, USA, 48 years ago. He immigrated to the United States in pursuit of the American dream, searching for the opportunity of an education and a better life for his beloved daughter, Maria Rosa. Through grit, faith and determination, his American Dream was realized.
