Paul E. Gerhardt

Paul E. Gerhardt, 74, of Brookfield, loving husband of Veronica “Roni” (Anger) Gerhardt, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

Mr. Gerhardt was born on March 20, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY; a son of the late Harold and Theresa (Hyland) Gerhardt. 

A retired teacher from the Danbury Public Schools, Mr. Gerhardt was a longtime teacher at Broadview Middle School. He was a proud member of the Fairfield County Model A Club.

Mr. Gerhardt is survived by his wife of 38 years, Roni, as well as their two children: Mary Gerhardt and Douglas Gerhardt and his wife, Casey Ferguson. Mr. Gerhardt is also survived by his granddaughter, Lily Gerhardt, as well as his two sisters; Debbie Malone and her husband, Jim and Mimi Roth and her husband, Marty. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 11 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 85 Great Plain Rd., Danbury. Interment will take place at the direction of the family. There will be no calling hours.
