Patsy Ann Banks

Patsy Ann Banks, of Danbury, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Patsy was born in Eden, Mississippi; a daughter of the late JB and Lucy Belle Banks.

Patsy was a retired Dietary Aide having worked for Danbury Hospital for nearly 40 years. She previously attended New Bethel COGIC in Danbury, CT. In her spare time she enjoyed being with her family, reading and having coffee, as well as trips to the casino. 

Patsy leaves behind her two daughters; Pamela Banks and Ashley Banks, her grandchildren; Jay Yona and Jeffrey Torres and her great grandson, Grady Charles. In addition, Patsy will be remembered by her siblings: David Banks, John Banks, Floyd Banks, James Banks and his wife, Penny, Letha Holmes and her husband, Isaac, Priscilla Blunt, and Sandra Banks. 

Patsy was predeceased by her son, Levar Banks as well as her brother, Paul Banks and her sisters, Shirley and Doris Banks. 

A Home Going Service will take place on Monday, January 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM in New Hope Baptist Church - 12 Dr. Aaron B. Samuels Boulevard, Danbury. Interment will take place privately. Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at New Hope Baptist Church, Danbury.
