Patricia (Paoletti) Stephens, 91, formerly of Ridgefield, passed peacefully on July 6th surrounded by her three daughters.
She was predeceased by her husband David, and her daughter Judy (Stephens) Thompson.
After moving to Ridgefield in 1967, Pat became vibrantly involved in the Ridgefield Community. She served as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Homebound Visitor, and faithful communicant of her beloved St Mary’s Church. She was a Justice of the Peace, marrying more than 65 couples. Pat cared deeply for others, serving as a Minister with Stephen Ministries. She was active with the Friends of the Library, Ridgefield VNA and Founders Hall. She loved singing with the Ridgefield Chorale. Pat was dedicated to the Keeler Tavern Museum, serving as a past President, a docent, and on the Archives Committee. She was an avid Yankees fan and loved to talk about her team.
She is survived by her daughters Linda (Richard) Green, Christine (George) Sorensen, Gayle (Robert) Truax and son in law Paul Thompson as well as 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Ridgefield on September 8th at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Keeler Tavern Museum and History Center, 152 Main St., Ridgefield.
