Nancy (Peeler) Remond

Nancy (Peeler) Remond, wife of the late Jean Remond died on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Danbury Hospital.

Nancy was born in Danbury on June 4,1947, a daughter of the late J.Burton and Adele (Garavel) Peeler. She attended local schools and graduated from Danbury High School in 1966. 

Nancy loved to watch her grandchildren play sports, and watch sports on TV, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Nancy enjoyed a good meal out with family and loved to talk to everyone she came across. Nancy always thought of others first and will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity. Nancy is known for her great sense of humor. 

Nancy is survived by a son, Scott and his wife Melissa. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Abigail, Madelyn and Nicholas. She is also survived by her daughter in law Diana Remond, and her brother, Tom Peeler. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Shawn Remond. A special heartfelt thanks to her caretaker, angel, and friend Rosa Valenzuela.

Services will be private. Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
