Michael J. Reagan, 72, of Danbury, died on September 19, 2025, at his home.
Michael was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on September 4, 1953, a son of the late Francis “Frank” Reagan and Doris (Chagnot) Reagan and spent much of his life in the Danbury area.
Michael was most at peace when outdoors in nature enjoying long walks and hikes. He had a quiet creativity as well, seen through his love of music and writing. Michael regularly sought out opportunities to help and treat others with kindness even during hard and challenging times.
He is survived by four sons, Mike and his wife Elizabeth, Josh, Zack and his wife Janet and Chris and his wife Lauren Losande, two brothers, Frank and his wife Barbara, and James, three sisters, Marta Grigas and her husband Steven, Mare Reagan Mongillo, and Nancy Reagan and her partner Meghan Witte, and
six grandchildren, Sophia, Audrina, Theadora, Simon, Evangeline and Asher. He also leaves behind his former wife, Ann Marie Reagan, his cousin, Bernie Scalzo, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his sister, Patti Reagan, a nephew, Patrick Reagan, and his Aunt, Eileen Scalzo.
Graveside funeral services and interment will take place on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel, with the Rev. Gregg D. Mecca, officiating.
