Mary Lou (Campo) Cuff, 82, of Danbury, beloved wife of the late John F. Cuff Jr., died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at Danbury Hospital.
Mrs. Cuff was born in Danbury on August 21, 1939, the daughter of the late Anthony and Lena (Tomanio) Campo.
A lifelong Danbury resident, Mrs. Cuff retired as Assistant Treasurer from the Union Savings Bank in 1976, then assisted her husband from 1976 to 1991 in their pharmacy, Cuff’s Pharmacy located at 1A Division St., Danbury. She then was employed as a bookkeeper for David Silvert, MD. Upon Dr. Silvert’s retirement, Mrs. Cuff became Parish Secretary at St. Joseph Church of Danbury and later St. Gregory the Great Parish, retiring in May of 2015. Mrs. Cuff graduated from St. Joseph School of Danbury and Danbury High School with the Class of 1957
. She is survived by several cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 20, 2021, at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, Danbury, with the Rev. Lawrence Carew officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
There will be no calling hours.
