Mark C Palmer

Mark C. Palmer, of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on the morning of January 25, 2026, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, New York, with his sister Kristin by his side.

Born in Utica, New York, Mark was a devoted son, brother, and father whose greatest joy was his family. His love for his son Casey and pup Sophie was unwavering and defined much of who he was, and those who knew him will remember his kindness, quiet strength, and deep loyalty to the people he loved.

He is survived by his greatest joy, his son Casey C. Palmer; Casey’s mother Heather; his parents, Christopher and Donna (Begg) Palmer; his sister Kristin Fair and her husband Jim Fair; his niece Annie Palmer; and his nephew Andrew Fair and his wife Catherine. Mark was also blessed with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 Granville Ave., Danbury.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in  St. Joseph Church,  Danbury at 10 A.M 

A celebration of Mark’s life at the Amber Room will follow the Mass
