Maria Campanile

Maria Campanile, 95, of New Fairfield, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Aniello Campanile.

Mrs. Campanile was born in Naples, Italy on July 6, 1929; a daughter of the late Angelo and Carmella Pedalino. A longtime area resident, Mrs. Campanile was a retired factory associate for Delmonte Foods. She was a parishioner of Saint Edward the Confessor Parish, New Fairfield. 

Mrs. Campanile is survived by her children: Antoinette DeSimone, Andrea Campanile, Angelo Campanile and Michael Campanile, as well as seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Saint Edward the Confessor Church; 21 Brush Hill Road, New Fairfield. Interment will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery; Hartsdale, NY. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday morning, April 2, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home; 9 Granville Avenue, Danbury.
