Obituary
Margaret Quinn Knoche, 101, of Ridgefield, died at her home on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
She was born in New Canaan on March 23, 1922, to Patrick Quinn and Catherine Pelkington Quinn. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Sr., and her son, Joseph, as well as her six siblings. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Patsy Knoche, and four grandchildren: Jacob (Brandi), Karl, Loretta (Milad) and Johanna (Aaron). Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Peggy enjoyed life. She loved parties, and played golf until she was 90. She was happy to achieve not just one, but TWO holes-in-one. She was a member of Silvermine Golf Club and Founders Hall, as well as Sacred Heart Church in Georgetown.
The family would like to thank Mark Hoyt for his amazing care of Peggy for the last few years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church; 30 Church Street, Georgetown (Redding). Interment will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery; 110 North Street, Ridgefield. There will be no calling hours.
Contributions in Mrs. Knoche's memory may be made to the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department Ambulance Fund - 6 Catoonah Street; Ridgefield, CT 06877.
