Margaret T. (Bouab) Ferrauiolo, 98, of Danbury, wife of the late Anthony Ferrauiolo, died on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Hancock Hall, Danbury.
Mrs. Ferrauiolo was born in Utica, NY on June 14, 1924, a daughter of the late Toufik and Jennie (Canan) Bouab.
In 1926, the Bouab family moved from Utica, NY, and settled in Brooklyn, NY until 1937 when the family relocated to Danbury. She attended Danbury schools and graduated from Danbury High School in the Class of 1942.
Margaret later attended Banking School and started her career in banking in 1957 with the former Danbury National Bank and retired as an Assistant Manager of the Union Trust Company.
She was a former member of the Amerigo Vespucci –Colonna Lodge, Young Women Syrian Lebanese Society (Y.W.S.L.S.). Lebanon American Club Ladies Auxiliary, St. Joseph Church, and a present member of St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church where she was a member of its Ladies Guild and a former member of its choir.
Mrs. Ferrauiolo is survived by a sister, Effie Smith of Danbury, a brother-in-law Frank Ferrauiolo, two nieces Doreen Bouab and Lisa Lynch (Sean), a nephew Stephen Bouab, a grandniece Rose Lynch and grandnephew Brian Lynch.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Ferrauiolo was predeceased by a brother, Charles Bouab.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 3, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 17 Granville Ave., Danbury.
Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
