Louise M. (Wegielski) Scensny

Louise M. Scensny, 81, of  New Fairfield, wife of the late Kenneth Scensny, died on Wednesday, June 11,2025 at Regional Hospice, Danbury.

Mrs. Scensny was born in the Bronx, NY, June 1, 1944, a daughter of the late George and Sophie (Podeszwa) Wegielski.  She attended New York schools and graduated from the Evander Child's High School, Gun Hill section of the Bronx, NY.

She was a retired employee of the Finance Department - Town of Brookfield, CT.

A resident of New Fairfield for the past 50 years coming from the Bronx, NY, she was a member of the New Fairfield Senior Center, New Fairfield Animal Welfare and of St. Edward the Confessor Church.

She is survived by her sister; Patricia Wegielski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 11 a.m. in St. Edward the Confessor Church, 21 Brush Hill Rd., New Fairfield.

Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield.

Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday morning from 10AM to 10:45 AM in St. Edward the Confessor Church.
