Linda Anthony McDonald

Linda (Anthony) McDonald, 77, of Newtown, retired event coordinator of Stepping Stone Museum, Norwalk, died on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at her home.

Mrs. McDonald was born in Adams, MA, July 8, 1948  a daughter of the late Margaret (Haggerty) and Ralph E. Anthony Jr.

She attended Adams schools and graduated from the Albany Business School.

An area resident for the past 40 years coming from St. Louis, MO, Mrs. McDonald was a employed with the Stepping Stone Museum of Norwalk as an event coordinator.  A position she held for 20 years prior to her retirement.

She was an avid knitter.

She is survived by two daughters Shannon Campbell and Heidi Craigue, two sisters, her twin sister Lucy Czaja and Virginia "Ginger" Gajda and by four grandchildren, William Lawrence, Harrison Craigue, Cora Craigue and Mady Campbell. 

Friends will be received on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 4 PM to 7PM in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield.

Interment will take place in the Maple Street Cemetery, Adams, MA.
