Linda L. (Enright) Guardino

Linda Enright Guardino of Danbury, formerly of Ridgefield, died at home surrounded by her loving family on December 26, 2021.

Born Linda Lee Enright on Friday, September 13, 1946, in Stamford to parents John and Margaret Enright, she graduated from Norwalk High School in 1964.

Until she met and married the love of her life Torry in 1967, she worked at CONDEC in Greenwich. Linda and Torry were married for 55 years. Linda was known for her kindness and positive outlook. She went on to work at Ridgefield Children’s Center, Norwalk Florist, and Ridgefield Congregate Housing, all while being the cornerstone of her loving family. The lights of her life were her “kiddles”, grandchildren Nick, Mike, Lilly, Samantha, Joe, Emily, and Jack. Nana’s love, smiles, hugs, and jokes made her the center of their world!

She is survived by her husband Torry Guardino and children, Torry and Phyllis Guardino, Julie and Rob Stefanelli, Chris and Stephy Guardino, her seven grandchildren, brother Andrew Enright and his wife Linda; sister Heather Harkins and her husband Daniel, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by six of her brothers and sisters, Margaret, John, David, Helen, Jean, and Susan.

Her caring, humor, and kindness for friends, family, and everyone she met will always be a comfort and example to all who knew her.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of the caregivers at Hospice and Danbury Hospital for their dedication and compassion in caring for Linda.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 1:15 pm in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 Granville Ave., Danbury with Fr. David Riley officiating. Interment will be private and at the discretion of the family.

The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home on Thursday from 11 am until the time of services.
