Born in Danbury on August 27, 1941, Linda was the daughter of the late Elsie (Weber) Blasy Miller and John Blasy. A lifelong Danbury resident, she devoted her life to her family and community.

Linda's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joseph; her daughter, Elizabeth Roos, and her family: Richard Jr., Jennifer and Joshua; and her son, Joseph DaSilva Jr., and his family: Dawn, Lauren, and Ryan. Being "Mimi" was one of the greatest joys of Linda's life and she took great pride in the young adults they were becoming.

She is also survived by her sisters, Joan "Tootsie" Hislop and her husband, Frank, and Barbara Stephens and her husband, Vic, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Brenda Pickert, and her husband, Hank.

Linda graduated from Immanuel Lutheran School, Danbury High School and Western Connecticut State University. She worked as an educator and later as a real estate agent. She proudly served on the Danbury Democratic Town Committee for more than 30 years, including many years as secretary and treasurer. A lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, she also found endless joy in tending her flowers and gardens.

Linda will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, devotion to her family  and service to her community. Known for her friendly spirit, she had a gift for connecting with everyone she met. Linda will be deeply missed.
