Kevin O'Neal Obituary

Kevin William O'Neal, 76, of Ridgefield, Connecticut, died on Sunday, December 28, 2025. He was the loving husband of Gina (Treglia) O'Neal and devoted father of Barbara (O'Neal) Virgilio, Gregory O'Neal, and Sara (O'Neal) McCullough.

Kevin was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on February 16, 1949; a son of the late Paul and Gertrude (O’Malley) O’Neal. He grew up in Darien, Connecticut, and attended Xavier University in Cincinnati.

A resident of Ridgefield for the past 20 years, Kevin was a retired Vice President of Dynamic Metals. He found happiness on the golf course, on the water while sailing, and most of all in time spent with family. Whether it was a shared meal, a celebration, or a quiet moment together, he cherished being with the people he loved. He will be remembered for his kindness, steady presence, and his deep love for his family, including his beloved dog, Rusty. He was a parishioner of Saint Mary’s Church.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Gina, as well as his children: Barbara Virgilio and her husband, Stephen, Gregory O’Neal and his wife, Maegan, and Sara McCullough and her husband, Timothy. Kevin is also survived by his grandchildren: Stephen, Ella and Luke Virgilio; James, Emma and Wesley O’Neal; as well as Charlotte and Hartley McCullough. In addition, Kevin is survived by his brothers: Paul O’Neal, William O’Neal and his spouse, Johan, and Dennis O’Neal.  He is also survived by in-laws, brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and family who all loved him dearly. 

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, Connecticut. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Saint Mary's Church; 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, Connecticut. Interment will take place in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Ridgefield, Connecticut.
