Kevin Michael Keane, 77, of Danbury, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2025, in Danbury Hospital after fighting a short, courageous battle with cancer this summer. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Lynch) Keane.
Kevin was born in Danbury, CT on April 17, 1948, to the late Thomas and Loretta Keane. He was a graduate of Danbury High School class of 1967 and served in the U.S. Army 1968-1971, a Vietnam Veteran. He worked for 35 years in the construction trade in the Danbury area and finished his working career for 15 years with Imperial Electronic Assembly in Brookfield. When he wasn’t working you could find him on the Golf course, as Golf was his greatest passion. He also enjoyed watching the NY Yankees and the NY Giants.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Nancy. Sister-in-laws; Kathleen Lynch of Trumbull, CT and Mary Fisher of Brookfield, CT. Brother-in-law John Lynch of Danbury, CT. Cousin Bill (Joanna) Mongillo and Niece Diana Zaleta, all of Danbury, CT. as well as many other cousins, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Karlene Borer.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 Granville Ave, Danbury, CT. A private burial will take place at a future date.
