Kerry Lynn (Curran) Tahan, 53, of Danbury, wife of Thomas M. Tahan, died on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Regional Hospice & Palliative Care Center, Danbury.
Mrs. Tahan was born in St. Mary County, Maryland, on June 13, 1967, a daughter of the late Howard and Susan (Reames) Curran. She relocated with her family in 1981, first settling in New Milford and to Danbury in 2011
. A Licensed Practical Nurse, she graduated from the Henry Abbott Technical School Nursing Program in 2008 and was last employed at Bethel Health Care, Bethel, CT.
Kerry was an advocate for animal rights and very involved in the animal rescue program.
A voracious reader, she enjoyed attending musicals and plays on the “Great White Way” – Broadway-NYC. She enjoyed music and attended many concerts. In addition to being a Green Bay Packer fan, she was a fan of the NY Rangers.
Kerry enjoyed the outdoors and the time spent camping.
In addition to her husband, Thomas Tahan, she is survived by a brother, Richard Curran, and his wife Dawn of St. Augustine, Fla., a sister, Kelly Kilcoyne, and her husband Donald of Warwick, NY and three nephews, Ryan, Logan, and Dylan Curran.
