Katherine (Gioles) Tsitsos

Katherine (Gioles) Tsitsos, 89, of South Salem, NY, wife of the late James J. Tsitsos, mother of the late John G. Tsitsos, and sister of Marian Gioles, died on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at her home.

Mrs. Tsitsos was born in Siatista, Greece on January 20, 1935, a daughter of the late George and Naouma (Otas) Tsitsos. 

She immigrated from Greece as a child with her family and first settled in Nassau County, NY and relocated to South Salem, NY.  She attended New York schools and was a retired administrative assistant if the Pfizer Company of New York.

The Rite of Burial will take place on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Clapboard Ridge Rd., Danbury.

Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
