Jane P. McGinley

Jane P. McGinley, 91, of South Salem, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond McGinley, Sr.

Jane was born in Mamaroneck, NY on July 29, 1933; a daughter of the late Julius and Anna (Hein) Westfall. She graduated from F.E. Bellows High School. Jane met the love of her life, Raymond, and they married on May 22, 1954. They lived in Mamaroneck until 1969, when they moved to South Salem, NY.

As a resident of South Salem for 56 years, Jane found great joy in her family, especially on family holidays and birthdays, and her beloved cat Bella. Jane also enjoyed cheering on her favorite NASCAR drivers and sport teams. Her generous spirit and love for her family will be deeply missed.

Jane is survived by her children: Elizabeth Peloso and her husband, George; Raymond McGinley, Jr.; James McGinley and his wife, Sharon; Brian McGinley; and Jayne Iannone and her husband, Tony. Jane is also survived by her grandchildren: Lisa Peloso, Edgar McGinley, Christina Kilmartin and her husband, Dan, Samantha Massaro and her husband, Frank, and Victor Massaro and his wife, Audrey, as well as three great grandchildren: Brody Quaranta, Amara Kilmartin and Mia Massaro. In addition, Jane is survived by her brother Harold Westfall and his wife, Mary; her sister-in-law, Nina Westfall-Fennessy; along with many nieces and nephews, and extended family friends.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Tributes and reflections of Jane will be offered at 3:30 PM. Interment will take place privately.
