James A. Gustavson, 37, of Southington, CT, formerly of Brookfield, son of Pamela Samaha and Eric Gustavson, died on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at his home after a lengthy illness.
James was born in Danbury on April 4, 1987 and attended local schools.
He was a quality control engineer with Quest Global of Windsor, CT. A life-long area resident relocating to Southington two years ago, he was a member of St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church of Danbury.
James enjoyed working, repairing and rebuilding computers and was truly an electronics buff.
In addition to his parents, James is survived by a brother Nicholas Gustavson and by an aunt, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, James and Jessica (Preston) Samaha, his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Ronnie (Solomon) Gustavson, and his aunts Patricia Schulze, Judy Samaha, and Deborah Cassavechia.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 17 Granville Ave., Danbury.
Interment will take place in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
Friends will be received at St. Anthony Church on Monday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
