James P. "Jimmy" Bargallo, 79, retired Head Custodian of Danbury City Hall, died on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
Jimmy was born in the Bronx, NY on August 9, 1945; a son of the late Victor and Beatrice (Duffy) Bargallo.
Jimmy retired from his position as Head Custodian of Danbury City Hall in 2013 after 26 years of service. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan; and he always enjoyed "walking the dog".
Jimmy is survived by his sibings Raymond, Patricia, Barbara and Ethel as well as a sister in law and brother in law, many nieces and nephews and former City Hall colleagues. In addition to his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by four brothers.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home; 9 Granville Avenue, Danbury. A graveside funeral service and interment will follow at 2:00 PM at Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
