Jada A. Mourning, 22, of Danbury, beloved daughter of Jennifer Molinaro and Donovan Mourning passed away unexpectedly on July 3rd, 2021. Jada was born on September 21, 1998, attended Danbury schools, and was both a Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) and a Certified EMT. She was currently employed by Village Crest Center for Health and Rehabilitation of New Milford and was to begin training this week with Newtown Ambulance as a volunteer EMT. She was also a dedicated student at Naugatuck Valley Community College, nearing completion of her Associate's Degree, the first step on her road to RN. She had a passion for helping people and worked tirelessly throughout this past year and a half as an essential worker, with little concern for the danger the pandemic posed for herself. Jada is survived by so many who loved her: Mom, Dad, and sister Ava, her maternal grandfather Richard Molinaro, her Aunt (and at times - 2nd mom) Maureen Molinaro, and by countless aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning, July 10, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 120 Main St., Danbury. The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury on Friday, July 9, 2021, from 4 PM to 8 PM. "It is not length of life, but depth of life.” Ralph Waldo Emerson.
