Sulogini was born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka and studied at Holy Family Convent. Her adventurous spirit led her to Rome, Italy where she lived for twelve years with her siblings and mother. She quickly became fluent in Italian and obtained a job at the Zambian embassy in Rome. She moved to the United States to marry the love of her life, Tommy. Since then, she worked at First American Title Insurance, commuting daily to New York City. A Ridgefield resident for the last 10 years, she was active in the Ridgefield community most prominently as a homebound eucharistic minister for St. Mary Parish. She was incredibly disciplined and dedicated and enjoyed spending time with her husband, son, and loving poodle Abby.
Her life was a living example of her favorite bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
