Frank E. Kula, 82, of Danbury, husband of Georgia (Anderson) Kula, died on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Danbury Hospital.
Mr. Kula was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on January 15, 1944, a son of the late Frank and Shirley (Lettin) Kula. A resident of Danbury since 1953 coming with his family from Woonsocket, he attended local schools and graduated from Danbury High School with the Class of 1961.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, Mr. Kula was a retired mineralogist with Cytec of Stamford.
He enjoyed bicycling, hiking, white water rafting, bird watching and mineral collecting.
In addition to his wife of fifty-six years, he is survived by a son, Christopher S. Kula, a sister, Karen Kula and a brother, John Kula.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Jo-Ann Henion.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Danbury.
Burial will follow in Holy Mount Cemetery, Eastchester, NY.
Friends will be received at the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 Granville Ave., Danbury on Monday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
