Evelyn R. (Jowdy) Attick

Evelyn R. (Jowdy) Attick, 92, of Danbury, died peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Nicholas A. Attick.

Mrs. Attick was born in Danbury, CT on September 10, 1932; a daughter of the late Nassib and Esma (Nimer) Jowdy. 

Mrs. Attick is survived by her three children: Nicholas Attick Jr. and his wife, Viviane; Diane Terzis and her husband, Andrew and Robin Attick. Mrs. Attick is also survived by five grandchildren: Julien, Alexander, Natalie, Alexandra and Christian; as well as her sister, Margaret Essa and her brother, Raymond Jowdy. 

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Attick was predeceased by her siblings: Gloria Jowdy, Ted Jowdy, Alice Webster, James Jowdy, Taffy Jowdy, Edward Jowdy and Joan Asmar. 

The Rite of Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 11:00 AM in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church; 125 Kohanza Street, Danbury. Interment will take place privately. Family and friends will be received at St. George Church on Friday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral service.
