Eleanor (Ranalli) McGraw

Eleanor (Ranalli) McGraw, 93, of Ridgefield Crossings, formerly of New City, NY, wife of the late Edward McGraw, died on Sunday evening, April 16, 2023, at Danbury Hospital.

Mrs. McGraw was born in the Bronx, NY, the daughter of the late Domenick and Celia (Forcino) Ranalli.  She attended NY schools and was a retired real estate agent.

She was an area resident for the past eight years coming from New City, Rockland County, New York.

Mrs. McGraw was an avid reader, an awesome cook, and enjoyed travel.

She is survived by a son Edward S. McGraw and his wife Paige of Danbury, a daughter Donna McGraw Weiss and her husband Jason of Pacific Palisades, California, and four grandchildren Jonathan, Collin, Tessa, and Shae.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. McGraw was predeceased by a brother Ernest Ranalli.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph R.C. Church, 372 Main St., Danbury, CT.

Interment will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.

The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 Granville Ave., Danbury on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 4 PM to 7 PM.
