Elaine G. Chaber, 82, of Danbury, died on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Regional Hospice of Western CT, Danbury.
The Rite of Burial will take place on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 11 AM in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 125 Kohanza Street, Danbury with V. Rev. Fr. George Al-Dehneh officiating. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury. Family and Friends will be received at St. George Church on Friday morning, April 4, 2025 from 10 AM to 11 AM

She was born in Latakia, Syria, January 20, 1943, a daughter of the late John G. and Hind (Bassous) Chaber. Elaine emmigrated to the United States from Lebanon in 1970.
She was a retired employee of Davis & Geck Company and a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church of Danbury.
Surviving is a brother, George J. Chaber and his wife Mary, three sisters, Margo Khalil, Nadia Chaber and Renee Debs and her husband, Sami, and 9 nieces and nephews, Wissam Khalil, Marybeth Chaber, Nadine Khalil, Emily Chaber, Andre Debs, Matthew Chaber, Christine Khalil, John Debs and Zena Debs.
