It is with great sadness that we announce Edward Gibson, has gone home on September 20, 2025, born June 17, 1962 in Greenwich to Charles and Jane (Sassone) Gibson.
Ed grew up in Greenwich and graduated from Greenwich High School in 1981, he worked at USPS for 25 years, Owned and Operated Bounce-Time Entertainment Party Rentals. Ed retired from USPS 7 years ago. He enjoyed time with his family and friends, you could find him on the sidelines during any of his children’s soccer, softball, baseball, basketball, football, hockey and golf games rooting them on, he loved playing softball and golf. Ed was an avid Mets and Giants fan. Ed was also an organ donor at the end of his life.
Ed is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda and their daughter Samantha Rose, sons Edward Vincent and Jack Everett. His brother Charlie (Henie) and Gail (John) Ortegon. Mother in law, Dolina Fragomeli, sister in law Darcy Fragomeli and brother in law Jay (Julie) Fragomeli, Goddaughter Lauren Ortegon Roman and several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his parents, his godson Andrew Gibson, sister in law Philamenia Gibson, and his father in law Vincent Fragomeli.
Services were held privately.
