Eddie G. Morning

Eddie G. Morning, 85, of Waterbury, formally of Danbury, husband of the late Shirley Ann (Zommer) Morning,  Morning, , died on Monday, February 23, 2026 at St. Mary Hospital, Waterbury, CT.

Mr. Morning was born in South Mills, North Carolina to Guilford and Mary (Worsley) Morning on June 1, 1940, and was raised in Bethel, North Carolina. He attended schools in Bethel, NC and resided in Bethel until 1964 when he relocated to Danbury, CT.

He was employed with the former Robert Buick of Danbury and the Danbury Public School system as a custodian at the Mill Ridge School.

He is survived by three sons, Edward, Kenneth and Michael and his wife Kristen,  nine grandchildren, Cyrus, Isabella, Kyle, Kylie, Kenneth Jr., Ayanna, Ava, Aubrey and Jocelyn and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Graveside funeral services and burial will take place on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 12 noon in Section 2 of Wooster Cemetery with the Rev. Leroy Parker officiating.

There will be no calling hours.
