Dorothy L. (Scott) Stefanelli

Dorothy (Scott) Stefanelli, 95, of Danbury formerly of Ridgefield, wife of Robert H. Stefanelli, died on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at St. John Paul II Center for Health Care, Danbury.

Mrs Stefanelli was born in Danbury and raised in Ridgefield.  She was the daughter of the late Clara (Burr) and Edward P. Scott, Sr.

She attended Ridgefield schools and graduated from Ridefield High School.  She was a retired legal secretary and a member of St. Stephen Episcopal Church of Ridgefield.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Stefanelli is survived by a son, Robert Scott Stefanelli and his wife Julie and their children, Emily and Joseph.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stefanelli was predeceased by three brothers, Sidney Scott, Edward Scott Jr. and Francis Scott.

The will be no formal funeral services.  Private burial will take place in Mapleshade Cemetery, Ridgefield at the direction of the family.
