Dominick C. Volpe Jr.

Dominick C. Volpe, Jr., 90, of Brookfield, CT, died on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Danbury Hospital.

He was the husband of the late Joanne (Sacowitz) Volpe.

Mr. Volpe was born in Danbury on December 9, 1934, a son to Mary (Setaro) and Dominick C. Volpe Sr.  He attended local schools and graduated from Danbury High School with the Class of 1953.

He was a retired optician.

Mr. Volpe has been a Danbury and Brookfield resident all of his life.  He was a member of the Exchange Club of Danbury and a former member of the Lions Club of Brookfield.

He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Danbury.

Mr. Volpe is survived by a son, Dominick C. Volpe III and his wife Joan, a granddaughter Rachel Saucier and her husband Daniel, a brother Charles "Chick" Volpe Sr., a brother in law Anthony Sacowitz and his wife Joan and a sister in law Vera DePoto and her husband Joseph.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private,
