Clyde W. Hawkins, 90, an area resident for the past twenty-five years, died on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Danbury Hospital.
He was the husband of sixty-six years to Anne (Webb) Hawkins.
Mr. Hawkins was born in Webster County, Kentucky, the son of the late John and Annie (Kelley) Hawkins. He attended Providence (Webster County) Kentucky school and graduated from the University of Kentucky.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
A mechanical engineer, Mr. Hawkins began his career with the DuPont Company and completed it with the Nabisco Food Company.
He was a member of the Perkiomen Lodge #595 F&AM of Red Hill, PA, and a member of the Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church of Ridgefield, CT.
An all-around the house, Mr. Fix-It, he enjoyed repairing small engines and doing projects about the yard.
In addition to his wife, Anne, Mr. Hawkins is survived by a daughter, Jennifer H. Mason and her husband Scott of Ridgefield, CT, three sons, John Hawkins and his wife Lori of East Greenville, PA, William Hawkins and his wife Nancy of Granby, CT and Steven Hawkins and his wife Andrea of Dublin, PA, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, was predeceased by a sister Gene Parsons.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 1 PM in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 Granville Ave., Danbury with Pastor William Pfohl officiating.
Interment will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery, Providence, KY.
