Clifford E. Webb Jr.

Clifford Webb Jr.,98, of Ridgefield, died peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2026. He was the loving husband of Jean (Hoyt) Webb.

Mr. Webb was born in New Canaan, CT on April 7, 1928; a son of the late Dorothy (Neale) and Clifford Webb Sr.

He became a resident of Ridgefield in 1956 when he finished construction of his home. He loved the people of Ridgefield and delivered milk to families, businesses and schools under Orems Dairy and Marcus Dairy for several decades. His construction skills were used for residential and commercial structures, working on kitchens even into his 80’s. 

Mr. Webb was an ordained Pastor and Evangelist serving the Community of Christ Church in Norwalk. He also was a visiting minister to congregations in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He loved golf and was a member of the Ridgefield Men’s Senior Golf League and the Ridgefield Men’s Club.  He enjoyed traveling with his wife visiting National Parks around the country.

Mr. Webb is survived by his wife of 76 years, Jean, as well as their two daughters: Marcia Geike and her husband Peter, and Stacey Judd and her husband Bruce. Mr. Webb is also survived by two grandchildren: Paul Duerr and his wife Rebecca, and Kimberly Cagle and her husband Josh; four great grandchildren: Autumn Duerr, Mackenzie Duerr, Sawyer Cagle and Jubilee Cagle, and two sisters; Dorothy Williamson and June Ewald.

A celebration of life will be at Community of Christ, 2 Mills Street, Norwalk, CT. Interment will be private and there are no calling hours. In gratitude for their long term assistance, contributions in Mr. Webb’s memory may be made, in lieu of flowers, to Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department EMS, 6 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield, CT 06877.
