Carol Lee Dickinson, age 85, of Ridgefield, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, at Meadow Ridge.
Carol was born on June 6, 1939. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose presence enriched the lives of her family and community.
For 55 years, Carol was the beloved wife of her late husband, William B. Dickinson, with whom she shared a deep and enduring love. Together they built a life rooted in faith, family, and service. Carol was a longtime member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, where she was part of the altar guild, choir, and helped coordinate marriages.
Carol’s generosity of spirit extended beyond her church life — she was known for support in the Garden Club, her community involvement in the League of Women Voters and as a Justice of the Peace, and her warm hospitality with friends in her dinner club.
Carol is survived by her loving children, Bruce and his wife, Joanna; Paul and his wife, Liza; her grandchildren- Elizabeth Paige, Brady, and Nathan.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at St. Stephen’s Church on Saturday, January 31st at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Stephen’s Church in her honor.
