Beverly J. Hubbard, 89, of Southbury, previous resident of Ridgefield, died peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late Frank Hubbard.
Mrs. Hubbard was born in Baldwin, NY on April 8, 1937; a daughter of the late John and Eleanor (Smith) Morse. As a longtime resident of Ridgefield, Mrs. Hubbard was a member of the First Congregational Church. Previously she attended the First Presbyterian Church of North Babylon, NY where she served as a deacon. Mrs. Hubbard was an avid gardener and loyal friend. She loved to nurture plants and people.
Mrs. Hubbard cared deeply for her immediate and extended family and will be greatly missed by her three daughters: Barbara Hubbard and her husband, Karl Lundgren; Patricia Hubbard Ragette and her husband, Bill and Beverly Barton and her husband, Michael. Mrs. Hubbard is also survived by three grandchildren; Patrick Barton and his wife, Kate; Timothy Barton and Elizabeth Barton as well as a great grandson, Barrett Barton.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. A prayer service will be offered at the conclusion of the visitation. Interment will take place privately.
