Benjamin Conway

Benjamin Conway, 99, of Ridgefield, CT passed away peacefully on May 6, 2021. He was the loving husband of the late Mary Etta (Howell) Conway. Mr. Conway was born in Newark, NJ on June 22, 1921; a son of the late Hazel Conway. A longtime resident of Kingston, NY; Mr. Conway was a retired Welder having worked for the Hudson Cement Company. Mr. Conway was known to be a jack of all trades and a handy man.

Mr. Conway is survived by his children: Eugene Jackson and his wife, Patricia; Janet Byrd; Louis Conway and his wife, Regina; and Theodore Conway and his wife, Donna. In addition, Mr. Conway is survived by 7 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Mr. Conway was predeceased by his parents, his wife and his siblings.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield CT. A Graveside Funeral Service and interment will take place on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Wiltwyck Cemetery; 145 Pine Grove Avenue, Kingston NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels of Ridgefield.
