Anthony L. Dominicus, 80, of Danbury, husband of Rosalie (DeLucia) Dominicus, died on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his home.
Mr. Dominicus was born in the Bronx, NY on October 4, 1940, the son of the late Carmine and Marie (Petruzziello) Dominicus.
He attended New York schools and was a supervisor of the Records Division of the Bronx NY County Court House where he was employed for fifty years. A resident of Danbury for the past twenty-two years coming from the Bronx, he was a member of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church of Brookfield and served as an usher. He found pleasure in watching old movies and enjoying fine food; especially sweets.
In addition to his wife of fifty-nine years, Mr. Dominicus is survived by two sons, Carmine Dominicus and his wife, Sabrina of Danbury and Anthony Dominicus and his wife, Adele of Newtown, a sister, Camille Agovino of New Jersey and five grandchildren, Anthony and his wife, Shannon, Nicholas, Carmine, Ariana and Alexis and a great grandson, Anthony.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 11 a.m. in St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, 138 Candlewood Lake Road, Brookfield. Interment will take place at the direction of the family. There will be no calling hours. Contributions in Mr. Dominicus’ memory may be made to St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church.
