Anthony DiPentima, 93, of Ridgefield, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024.
Anthony was born in Bronx, New York, to the late Pasquale and Rosaria. He received a B.S. from Oklahoma State University and M.S. from Syracuse University. Anthony had years of management expertise in the development and marketing of products for the electronic printing and publishing industries. This included senior management positions at CBS Laboratories and Mergenthaler Linotype. He was also the president and founder of Advanced Printing Systems.
Anthony served in Korea as a First Lieutenant in the Army during the Korean War. After his service, he continued working with the government including working with the Kennedy administration during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Anthony was loved by all who met him. He enjoyed exploring the outdoors as well as traveling and history.
Anthony is survived by his children, David, Jim, Lea, Lea's partner Glenn, grandson Dylan, Dylan's wife Erica, and several nieces and nephews. He was a lover of animals and will be very missed by his dog grandchild Theo.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Clara.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Village Crest in New Milford for the care and support they provided to Anthony and his family.
