Anna D. Sallaberry, 86, of Ridgefield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 29, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late George F. Sallaberry. Mrs. Sallaberry was born on December 5, 1934 in Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Genaro and Josefina (Torrens) Calzada.
A resident of Ridgefield for the past 20 years, Mrs. Sallaberry was a devoted and beloved wife, mother and grandmother; family meant everything to her. Mrs. Sallaberry was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church of Ridgefield.
Mrs. Sallaberry is survived by her two sons; Victor Sallaberry and his wife, Cara, and Brian Sallaberry and his wife, Debbie. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Victoria, Connor, Kristen, Olivia, and Tyler as well as 2 brothers; Ralph and Robert Calzada and a sister, Norma Giancola. In addition to her parents, husband, 2 sisters and brother, Mrs. Sallaberry was predeceased by a grandson, James Sallaberry.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church Hall; 183 High Ridge Avenue, Ridgefield. Interment will follow in Rose Hills Memorial Park; 101 Mill Street, Putnam Valley, NY. There will be no calling hours.
