Ann Torcellini Buccitti, 91, of Ridgefield, died peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Armando Buccitti.
Mrs. Buccitti was born on August 16, 1934 in Ridgefield, CT; a daughter of the late Nazzareno and Matilda (Paterniani) Torcellini.
Following her graduation from Ridgefield High School, Mrs. Buccitti attended Katherine Gibbs School. She was employed in the law office of Attorney John E. Dowling, and later served as Probate Court Clerk for Judge Romeo G. Petroni and Judge Joseph A. Egan.
A lifelong resident of Ridgefield, Mrs. Buccitti was a faithful parishioner of Saint Mary’s Church and was an active volunteer in the community.
Mrs. Buccitti is survived by her children; Lisa Yost and her husband, Byron and David Buccitti. Mrs. Buccitti is also survived by her grandchildren; Gina Eisenman and her husband, Bryan and Matthew Yost, as well as her great grandchildren, Cameron and Payton Eisenman along with many caring nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents and her husband Armando, Mrs. Buccitti was predeceased by her sisters, Elise Bartolucci, Louise Main and a daughter in law Ellen Cavallo Buccitti.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Saint Mary's Church; 55 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. Interment will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Ridgefield.
