Angelina "Angie" Dicine, 93, of Ridgefield, longtime resident of Stamford, died peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Anthony Dicine.
Angie was born on May 17, 1931 in Stamford, CT, and was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Colabella.
Angie was the wife of the late Anthony Dicine, devoted mother to her daughter, Debra Tropsa and son, Richard Dicine, and loving Nannie (grandma) to her grandchildren; Julie, Danielle and husband Aaron, Katie and fiancé James, and Ally and husband Jordan. She loved them with all her heart, and they meant the world to her.
Angie was also the sister to three brothers and their spouses, Nicholas (Claire), Tony “Buster” (Ginny), and Anthony “Jabsy” (Margie) and three sisters and their spouses, Ann (Tony), Katie (Dave), and Rose (Wally).
Angie loved to play golf, go to the casino, bowl, walk, dance with her granddaughters, have a glass of white zinfandel, make olive salad for her family, eat apple pancakes, and listen to her favorite singer, Celine Dion. She also loved the color pink. She recently went on a trip to Italy, a lifelong dream of hers, at the age of 92!
Angie was loved so much by her family and friends and will be deeply missed, but we know she will be our angel in heaven watching over all of us.
