Andrew J. Stipicevic

Andrew J. Stipicevic, 31, of Brookline, MA; longtime resident of Ridgefield, died on Monday, September 30, 2024.

Andrew was born in Upland, California on December 22, 1992; a son of Mike and Silvia (Galdo) Stipicevic. He lived in the St. Louis and Atlanta areas before moving to Connecticut at age 8.

Andrew attended Ridgefield schools and graduated Ridgefield High School and later the University of Connecticut. He worked as a financial planner, Retail Regional Manager and most recently at an HVAC company.

During his school years he participated in various sports including soccer, baseball and football. In his spare time, Andrew enjoyed hiking, rock climbing, cooking, running and sky diving. He was a member of the Midnight Runners Club and also was awarded a gold medal in sky diving while attending the University of Connecticut. 

Andrew is survived by his parents, Mike and Silvia; his siblings, Michael Stipicevic and his wife, Johanna Henningsen and Theresa Donovan and her husband, Robert as well as his nephew, Jonas Henningsen. Andrew is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM in Saint Elizabeth Seton Church; 520 Ridgebury Road, Ridgefield. Interment will take place privately.
